A year later, he was posted and signed with the Red Sox. It will be interesting to see if Darvish follows a similar path, despite his publical statement that he currently has no desire to come over to the United States. Considering that he's currently making about $3 million per season, and could easily get into 8 figures a season starting in the Majors, you'd think he may be tempted.
