Yu Darvish intends to stay in Japan for the 2011 season, according to MLBTradeRumors.com report, which cites Japan Times reporter Jason Coskrey’s Twitter account and Darvish’s personal blog. Darvish is expected to be pursued by as many as 10-12 MLB teams if he were to be posted this winter.

This appears to be the $25+ million question. As many as eight major league teams have scouted him in hopes that he will be posted, similar to the process of when Daisuke Matsuzaka was posted by his Japanese team, and eventually signed by the Boston Red Sox.
